Assets detector

The Asset Detector is the first systematic public disclosure of the assets of political officials in Slovenia. Due to the non-public nature of such data in the archives of the Commission for the Prevention of Corruption, the project relies exclusively on investigative and data journalism methods. In its first phase, the team focused on government ministers, followed by state secretaries, and later members of parliament.

In 2025, we launched a new chapter of the Asset Detector, examining the assets of Members of the European Parliament, newly appointed government officials, members of parliament, and mayors.
