Get the job

At Oštro, we are always looking for curious, persistent, and responsible students interested in investigative journalism.

You will begin your work on the project Razkrinkavanje.si, which also serves as an incubator where we train new generations of investigative journalists. Under the mentorship of Oštro’s experienced journalists and editors, you will uncover false news, manipulations, and other forms of disinformation, and write news stories in the areas covered by Oštro.

“By verifying the credibility of statements made by those who hold social power and authority, you will learn to critically assess information and develop skills in investigative and data journalism. Over time, you will be able to build on this knowledge by contributing to investigations into stories about the environment, corruption, tax havens, and other irregularities in society, both at home and abroad.

Students of journalism‑related fields may also apply if they demonstrate an interest in journalism and an understanding of the media or media work. Based on our past experience, preference is given to students in at least the second year of undergraduate studies or higher.
